The most recent example I've found of how this can play out is the Brooklyn Generation School. <br /><br />As far as I can tell the outcomes have been amazing. I believe I read that they achieved 100% competency on some standardized test.<br /><br />Even more to the point of your post, the UFT worked closely with the innovators to design the school.
